For decades, Danfoss has had an in-house graphic design and advertising department, which handles a variety of jobs for the company's many internal departments and – in the latetest years – external customers throughout the world. In order to ensure a flexible consistency within corporate graphical identity elements, to boost efficiency and to provide better service to its customers, and build and maintain an even stronger brand Danfoss wanted an Internet-based solution that would enable the advertising department to control the huge amounts of campaign elements exchanged daily between the company's thousands of employees situated across the globe.
Prior to selecting XMedia and XPublish from Digital XPress, a thorough research process was carried out. The selection process was especially important because XMedia was to replace a proprietary image and database solution that was one of the most frequently used digital systems in the Danfoss domain. At the same time, Danfoss wanted a system based on a technological platform which was capable of growing with Danfoss’ needs.
